The ambiance is great I think being away from the always busy city of Chicago the change of scenery is always good when I walked in on a fine Saturday afternoon hearing fresh sounds of blue grass music just set the vibe especially on st paddy's day weekend ironically my date of birth is on st paddy's day I told my fiancé I wanna do something different and celebrate in a different way and I'm glad we stopped here. Let me just say I'm not a vegan and I wasn't quite ready to eat vegan meat. I must say they're sweet treats are amazing. I had the Saint Paddy's day kitchen sink cookie. I believe that's what it's called. It was amazing. My fiancé had the pumpkin chocolate chip cookie, which was also amazing and the herb tea spectacular so fresh the aroma of the tea. No one cannot match it. The only thing I will say that is negative the service not quite the best I still give it five stars because of everything else that's in this teahouse it's spacious to me, elegant, and it just sets the mood for easy relaxing day and it's not the owners fault that the moody employees are needless to say I will be returning here ! And lastly, how often do you get to sit next to Billy Corrigan at his own tea shop? Shout out to him and being so humble

Our family really loves this place. We live in wheeling but my partner works down the street so we often get to explore highland park. Our first experience was the Bozo event and then we recently went to a magic show there. I had heard about this place because I'm a big smashing pumpkins/ Billy corgan fan and follow him and his wife on social media. I think it's really cool that they are doing all these amazing family events for the community. The people that work there are also very cool and helpful when choosing what to order. I personally like things on the sweeter side so the dark and stormy was recommended to me and it was delicious. My kids are big fans of their little donuts. We look forward to the next family events and tasty drinks and food.

Large roomy eclectic space with interesting retail gifts. Nice coffee menu. Came for lunch and enjoyed the delicious chickpea tuna melt, which came highly recommended. Came with a side, and I chose the fresh salad. Nice place to stop by, grab a drink or meal, shop and relax. Lots of parking nearby.

Only a short drive from Chicago, Billy Corgan's vegan tea shop is an absolute gem. There are a wide variety of quality, fragrant teas, some delicious looking chocolate, T-shirts, and other gifts.... and lots of vegan food! The space is incredible, with lots of elbow room. Service is both excellent and knowledgeable. I just wish I lived nearby so I could pop in for one of the events!

I love the vibe at this retro vegan teahouse-store-performing space. There was a musician performing while we stopped in for lunch and the tables were set wide apart, and it was mellow and a cool respite from the humid steamy weather. I'm not vegan but I'm happy to eat veggie, vegan and gluten free. My chickpea tuna melt tasted great but I wasn't a fan of the very thick and hearty bread. I should have asked for a wrap or in a bowl instead. The roasted potatoes were perfect in a tasty dipping sauce. My companion had a grilled cheese with a colorful side salad. They would have preferred a lighter bread as well. I will come back to sample the teas and desserts. I've also posted a pic of our beloved dog Zuzu and of whom I'm reminded every time I pass by this restaurant or see it mentioned. He's no longer with us and I regret that I never brought him here to bark at BC. What can I say, he really enjoyed barking.

Stopped by here for a coffee after breakfast next door at Once Upon - I love that everything here is plant-based and seemed very thoughtful and tasty. I definitely want to try some pasties from the case next time I'm in town. Ambiance is very funky, gothy and cool. Fun that they have live music and a large seating area. Love the kooky little gift shop. My only downside is the place wreaks of some sort of incense/frankincense - it was giving me a headache while just waiting in line. I also just really prefer my coffee shops to smell like the roasting coffee/tea/food that's there. I ordered and almond milk french vanilla latte and it was delicious! I loved the roast and that the almond milk didn't cost extra - however the price was steep to begin with (maybe it's because I'm coming from MN prices though).

We were in the Highland Park area and this place has been on my radar. Stopped on late Sunday morning. Street parking can be a challenge . You enter thru their gift shop where they offer branded merchandise, tea and vinyl records. Prices are not cheap but many items are unique and cannot be purchased elsewhere. Lots of re-released Smashing Pumpkins records since this place is owned by Billy Corgan. They have various coffees, apps and sandwiches listed on the wall along with a separate menu with daily specials and teas. Prices are not listed on their tea or coffee menu so ask before you order as some of the specialty tea drinks can get pricey. We ordered the breakfast taco special which came with 3 tacos and breakfast potatoes. Not sure why they were called "Breakfast " tacos. Toppings was only 1 onion slice and a few leafs of cilantro. We ordered the pork, beef and chorizo but quite frankly they all tasted the same and were very bland. Nothing had flavor. We also tied a gluten free chocolate brownie which was ok but didn't seem fresh..maybe a day old. Limited seating is available and they had a guitar player while we ate which was a nice touch The place has a cool vibe and I would go back but probably for just a drink and a pastry.
